On May 6, 2024, a meeting was held at the Secretariat of the Young Scientists Festival, featuring Mrs. Khatoon Shahbazi, CEO of the CHIAMOD Institute. The session aimed to explore collaborative opportunities in the fields of creative industries, environmental sustainability, and sustainable development.
The CHIAMOD Institute, an active organization in education, research, and the advancement of social innovation ecosystems, focuses on empowering diverse community groups —particularly women and youth— through initiatives in cultural and creative industries, environmental conservation, and sustainable development.
During the meeting, Mrs. Shahbazi emphasized the key role of youth and women in achieving sustainable development goals and proposed actionable strategies to expand cooperation. Key suggestions included organizing events to promote eco-friendly lifestyles and designing specialized panels centered on technology, ecosystems, environmental innovation, and social entrepreneurship.
The Basic Sciences and Technology UNESCO Club, serving as the festival’s executive arm, plays a vital role in advancing scientific, promotional, and technological activities aligned with these objectives.
This collaborative dialogue underscored the importance of interdisciplinary partnerships and youth-driven innovation in addressing global sustainability challenges.
