According to the Public Relations Department of the Young Scholars and Researchers Festival, the “Night with the Stars” event will be held on the occasion of the World Astronomy Week with the aim of familiarizing the public with the attractions of basic sciences and promoting science by studying astronomy in Tehran.
The Night with the Stars event will be held on the occasion of the World Astronomy Week with the aim of promoting science and showing the role of basic sciences in everyday life and its attractions, and by studying astronomy on the occasion of the World Astronomy Week.
This event includes observing the sky with a telescope and setting up a booth on the role of science in everyday life, with the presence of individuals and science promoters in the fields of astronomy, physics, biology, and geology. It is open to the public and free to visit.
This program will be held on May 15, 2024, and 16 at the Milad Tower area, May 15 at the entrance to Mellat Park, May 16 at the Azadi Tower area, and May 18 at Mina Dome.
The Night with the Stars event will begin at sunset and continue until 10 p.m. every night.
It is worth mentioning that this event is being held with the support of the Jamili Science and Technology Foundation, UNESCO Basic Science and Technology Club, Tehran University Supporters Foundation, Azadi Tower Complex Management, Milad Tower Social and Cultural Departments, Tehran District 3 Municipality, Iranian Amateur Astronomy Association, and a group of science and astronomy development areas.
This program will be held every year and coincides with the World Astronomy Week. Different groups across the country will be holding different programs this week.
