Field of activity: Scientific empowerment of the general public

With the motive of improving the level of knowledge and public insight and promoting education, science and disseminating authentic Iranian and Islamic principles, based on the cultural goals set forth in the Constitution of the Islamic Republic of Iran and the frameworks of the UNESCO-Iran National Commission, with the commitment to comply with the country's regulations and the rules governing the establishment of UNESCO clubs, and in accordance with the specifications and conditions foreseen in this statute, the Basic Sciences and Technology Club was formed.

  • Increasing public knowledge of scientific facts about the coronavirus in order to combat the virality of non-scientific content in society
  • Forming groups to support assistance in the event of natural disasters in the country
  • Participating in development activities to create an infrastructure for developing basic science applications in the country if necessary
