A new window for cooperation between the Festival and the ECO Scientific Foundation

On Wednesday, September 20, a meeting was held with the presence of Professor Tayyibi, President of ECOSF, and hosted by the Permanent Secretariat of the Festival of Young Scholars and Scientists.

The ECO Science Foundation (ECOSF) was established in Islamabad, Pakistan in 2011 and its main goal is to promote the status of science and technology in ten member countries (Afghanistan, Azerbaijan, Iran, Kazakhstan, the Kyrgyz Republic, Pakistan, Tajikistan, Turkey, Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan), which in turn leads to economic development.

In this meeting, the President of ECOSF emphasized the effectiveness of organizations such as the Jamili Science and Technology Foundation in training human resources and networking among ECO member countries and expanding their activities.

Engineer Jamili continued: Adhering to cross-border standards is of great importance in the process of internationalizing the festival; therefore, we want to use the experiences of the main pillars of ECOSF to follow this path correctly.

Then, after briefly introducing the festival, the Director of the Permanent Secretariat presented a report on the meeting held with the former President of ECOSF (Professor Samro) and also the extent of the festival’s interactions with the ECO Cultural Institute in Iran.

In the end, Professor Tayyibi announced the readiness of this scientific foundation for long-term cooperation with the Festival of Young Thinkers and Scientists.
