On May 9, 2025, Professor Shahrbano Oryan, a distinguished figure in animal physiology, was welcomed at the Basic Sciences and Technology UNESCO Club. The event, highlighted Professor Oryan’s remarkable journey in science, from beginning her education at age five to earning her PhD from the University of Sheffield in the UK. Throughout the conversation, Professor Oryan emphasized the importance of knowledge exchange, expertise sharing, and active science promotion in building a vibrant scientific community. She recounted her pioneering efforts in founding research laboratories, publishing 405 articles in prestigious national and international journals, and launching the PhD degree in neurophysiology at Kharazmi University.
