In September 2022, the Secretariat of the Young Scholars and Scientists Festival hosted the former president of the ECO Scientific Foundation.
The ECOSF Scientific Foundation is a group that was formed with the help of expert human resources from member countries to promote science and technology and contribute to economic development, and has three scientific-cultural-educational branches in Pakistan, Turkey, and Iran.
Professor Soomro – former president of ECOSF, continued his speech by stating that the goals and perspectives of this scientific foundation are the exchange of science and technology information, the implementation of research projects with a developmental perspective for member countries, and the support of youth and women.
Engineer Ebrahim Jamili made some points regarding the continuous educational support of the Young Scholars and Scientists Festival in order to develop idea-building skills and also the establishment of the UNESCO Basic Science and Technology Club.
The head of the Festival’s Policy Council then proposed the exchange of scientific information as well as training in team-building skills for applicants from the international section in order to better advance the goals of both parties.
At the end of the meeting, it was decided that the Festival of Young Thinkers and Scientists would benefit from the valuable experiences of the ECOSF Scientific Foundation in planning the festival’s international affairs and qualitatively evaluating the effectiveness of this scientific event in order to improve the development of the capabilities of the young people participating in the festival.
