In May 2023, a joint meeting was held between the festival’s members and the Secretary General of the ECO Economic Cooperation Organizations, and Dr. Mudab gave a brief description of the activities of this scientific event. Dr. Mohammadi Panah also introduced the UNESCO Basic Science and Technology Club, stating that the purpose of its establishment was to promote science and the purpose of holding the festival was to transform ideas in the field of basic science into business.
Dr. Gholami continued by stating that the purpose of signing the memorandum of understanding with the ECO Cultural Institute was to develop scientific partnerships with regard to the common cultural heritage, increase cooperation between member universities in the region, promote activities related to the development of young scholars and scientists, and develop cooperation between private sectors that support science.
Secretary of the Management and Planning Committee: To achieve these goals, we have set the slogan “Thoughts and Knowledge: A Bridge for Friendship and Convergence of the Elite Society of the Region” as the main focus of our work.
Engineer Jamili noted: The festival is held with the aim of creating added value and motivation among young thinkers and also rapid progress in the digital path. Therefore, in order to increase international activities in the seventh period; he raised his requests to provide a solution to choose the right path for transnational activities and introduce international professors in the field of basic sciences.
In the end, Dr. Nazeri listed the fields of trade and investment, communications and transportation, energy and mines, and sustainable development as active fields in this institute.
He provided explanations about the awards that are given every 2 years at the summit of member countries to prominent individuals in the fields of science, education, history and literature, agriculture, and technology.
The Secretary General of the ECO Economic Cooperation Organizations noted that the ECO Cultural Institute and the ECO Educational Institute are also active, and in this regard, he suggested that the festival consult with the two aforementioned institutions to achieve better results, and that the festival’s requests to ECO be made through the Ministry of Foreign Affairs so that they can be included in the agenda of this group.
