Field of activity: Empowering scientific capabilities in the general community

Motivated by the elevation of public knowledge and insight, and the promotion of education, science, and dissemination of Iranian and Islamic fundamental principles, based on the cultural objectives stipulated in the Constitution of the Islamic Republic of Iran and within the frameworks of the National Commission for UNESCO – Iran. The club “Basic Sciences to Technology” is established with a commitment to comply with national regulations and the guidelines governing the establishment of UNESCO clubs, in accordance with the specifications and conditions outlined in this statute.

Supporting creative young individuals in transforming basic science theories into applications or services in society.

OBJECTIVES

Preparing and publishing newsletters, brochures, and articles to increase public inclination towards scientific methods for problem-solving.

Encouraging innovation through participation in idea-generation festivals and startup events.

Organizing meetings, conferences, webinars, lectures, visits, appreciation events, and more to spread the understanding of the importance of basic sciences in society.

Increasing public knowledge of scientific facts about the coronavirus to combat the spread of unscientific information in the community.

Forming support groups for assistance during natural disasters in the country.

Participating in construction activities to create infrastructure for the development of basic science applications in the country if necessary.

Organizing events and ceremonies to familiarize people with the culture of endowments and charity for the development of science in society.

Recognizing and introducing elites, professors, and spiritual supporters of basic sciences to the community.

 Supporting top talents in information technology, artificial intelligence, and knowledge-based companies.

 Organizing training courses to convert basic science ideas into applications with the help of universities, associations, and research institutes.

In order to achieve the objectives and activities envisaged in the statute, the club may, in compliance with relevant regulations, undertake the following operations:

• Procuring and providing necessary materials and goods and arranging tools and equipment to cover the club’s expenses.
• Investing and partnering with individuals and legal entities to enhance the efficiency and capabilities of the club.
• Entering into contracts and conducting permissible transactions within the scope of the objectives and subject of the statute.
• Obtaining loans or credit from individuals, banks, and credit institutions, and accepting gifts and awarding prizes to individuals.
