“Milad Tower Hosts Successful Solar Observation Event on Summer Solstice Day”
On June 22, 2023, Milad Tower hosted a successful solar observation event during the summer solstice. Scientists, astronomers, and the public gathered to use the largest solar telescope in the Middle East. The event, supported by the Jamili Science and Technology Foundation and Young Scientists Festival, was free for all attendees. Professor Hamid Khodashenas, along with experts from the Sayeh Research Institute, led the solar observation, providing insights and answering questions. This event coincided with the summer solstice, making it a unique experience on the longest day of the year.
